Now that the Space Race of the Cold War is over, the Americans and Russians have collaborated together in a brand new mining project on the Moon. In this fun online game of Moon Lander, you are the pilot of one of the Russian spacecraft. It is your task to fly your craft to the designated landing pads which are marked with an arrow. There you'll pick up extra minerals from the mines below, and will be directed via the arrows to the next pad on your journey.

Travelling across the moon like this is quite heavy on the use of fuel, and it's important to keep an eye on your fuel gauge at the top right of the game - if you run out in mid-flight you're a gonner. There are a number of refueling platforms along your journey which can use at any stage to keep your ship topped up. If you need to, you can return to any of these points more than once for an extra sip of fuel.

Three thrusters control the movement of your ship through the lunar space. Your keyboard's the up arrow key will power the rocket at the base of your ship to propel you upwards. Your left arrow key will fire the thruster on the right side of your ship to direct you to the left, and your right arrow key will blast the thruster on the left side of the spaceship to push you toward the right. Be careful as you're actually landing - too fast a descent could smash your craft to smithereens.
